At the Light Car Club of Canberra, we're more than just a motorsport club – we're a vibrant community that loves to come together and celebrate our shared passion. Here’s a deeper look at some of the thrilling and fun-filled events we host throughout the year:

Event explainers

Throughout the year, we organise a diverse range of events to cater to different interests within motorsport, including:

A timed motorsport event on dirt tracks, testing car control and agility with multiple directional changes. Suitable for both beginners and experienced drivers, offering a fun and competitive environment.

Khanacross

A shorter rally on closed road sections up to 12 km, emphasizing speed and precision on challenging courses. Varying terrain adds excitement as drivers compete against the clock.

Rallysprint

A multi-stage motorsport event on closed roads, testing driver and co-driver endurance and skill. Competitors navigate timed stages over long distances and diverse conditions.

Rally

A non-competitive event for participants including families, following routes on public roads. Visit scenic or historic locations, focusing on driving enjoyment and camaraderie among enthusiasts.

Road Touring

An event on a closed racing circuit where drivers test and improve skills in a controlled setting. Experience high-speed driving and cornering without public road risks.

Track Day

From club meetings, go kart nights, online challenges and social gatherings,we give motorsport enthusiasts the chance to catch up socially and share advice.
