Hi Folks,
Our much loved team member, Debbie Quirk who was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer, sadly lost her
fight on Sunday, 4th June 2023.
Debbie was an instrumental part of our team since we started in 2017. Her enthusiasm and hard
work was the driving force behind our success and it is only fitting that we honour her with the
running of this event in her memory. The thought of running this rally without her brings tears to
our eyes but we know that she will be looking down on us and cheering everyone on.
As a last push, we decided to move the rally up the calendar to the date of 26th August 2023 in the
hope that Deb would be here with us.
We are raising funds for the Cancer Care Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation, who run one of
many centres, but mainly Riverina Cancer Care where Deb received her treatment. Please take the
time to read their role here.
We want to take the time to thank Motorsport Australian for their generous donation of waiving
the permit fees for this event, so that as much money as possible can get to where it is needed.
Rallysafe and Jeff Woods have also jumped on board with sizable donations to help us, help you
rally and give a last farewell and thank you to Deb.
New owners Todd and Megan from Kosciuszko Automotive have expressed their desire to help
where they can and are naming rights for this one last push to give Deb something to look forward
to.
We also welcome back Wildbrumby Schnapps, Jindabyne Brewing and Skymesh Pty Ltd. We are
very grateful for their support.
We will be host again for the 2022 ACT Regional Rally Series and welcome on board the Northern
Hyundai Gravel Girls Series.
